If you are looking for the ideal adventure job in Africa, a fulfilling summer job abroad or maybe just a career break with a difference you may wonder whether your experience will be "all work and no play?"
We assure you that whilst your time on any of our programmes will be challenging and will demand a certain level of responsibility and commitment, there is plenty of time to relax, travel, meet people and have fun and get to know your fellow volunteers and travellers.
You will also find that our project schedules are structured so that our day-to-day activities are fun in themselves!

Our volunteer managers and coordinators work hard to ensure that you are well looked after during your placement, and they will assist you with scheduling extra excursions and activities that are available to you in the area of your placement.
We even include information on local attractions and places of interest in your welcome pack that is handed to you when you arrive and we encourage you to partake in tourist activities as it is another way of contributing to the local economies.

Meet People & Have Fun
Apart from making a difference in Africa, our volunteers also have the opportunity to live and work with other international volunteers, building lasting friendships and having tons of fun.
For example:
- Livingstone Community Development project - after a day of working with the local kids, go on a sunset cruise on the majestic Zambezi River or a visit to Victoria Falls.
- Lion breeding & rehabilitation programme - end the day alongside a campfire with your newfound friends as the sun sets behind the horizon and the stars come out to the nocturnal sounds of the African bush.
