Sitting in church was different for me this week. It was the first time I had been to church since returning from the Holy Land. It was a communion service, making it all the more special.
Looking at the stain glass window of Jesus preaching the Sermon on the Mount, I quietly said to myself "I've been there". Having walked where Jesus walked, sailed on a fishing boat on the Sea of Galilee, walked through the olive trees in the Garden of Gethsemane, I have come home changed. My faith is more alive than ever. I know that Jesus is real but now I have SEEN with my own eyes. Bethlehem, Nazareth, the Mount of Beatitudes, the western wall of the Temple Mount - they are all REAL!
Can I encourage you to re-invigorate your faith and consider a tour to the Holy Lands in 2012? We have a tour departing on 20 January 2012 that is 4 people short of the minimum number. We do not want to disappoint those who have already booked. Is this something you might want to do? I was amazed at how safe Israel is. Egypt's elections have been postponed until 2012 so things have also settled down there. What's stopping you from experiencing a once in a liofetime journey?
